Thank you to the 9000 + people who voted for me and supported me during my campaign for County Commissioner. I have been touched by the phone calls and emails I have received from people since the election. Though we fell short of our goal of a new majority on the County Commissioner Board, I'm grateful for the strong efforts that everyone made on our behalf.
As a Republican I continue to be a staunch advocate of lower taxes. I believe that the government should not use residents' tax dollars on wasteful spending. Taxes should be collected, but they should not burden the residents by overtaxing them.
I'm confident that the Republican core principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, common sense environmental responsibility and personal freedom will make our County and our Country more prosperous. I will continue to fight for these principles and for transparency in our government at all levels. I look forward to continuing to work with you as we face the challenges ahead.
